About the Ministry
Heroes For Christ Ministry is a vibrant Christian community located in Lakowe, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
The ministry was pioneered in 2021 by Pastor James Alao, a seasoned teacher of God’s Word and a passionate servant of Christ.
Heroes For Christ Ministry was birthed out of a divine instruction to establish a work that would raise believers who live purposefully and represent Christ faithfully in every sphere of life.
Since its inception, the ministry has grown into a thriving community of believers passionate about God, committed to spiritual growth, and dedicated to spreading the Gospel.
Through powerful worship services, prayer meetings, evangelistic outreaches, and special worship gatherings, the ministry continues to impact lives and raise men and women who walk boldly in their calling.

He is the lead Pastor and convener of Heroes for Christ Ministry, Lagos, Nigeria, an interdenominational church committed to calling back sinners, awakening the saints and raising stewards who represents Christ accurately and adequately.

SHEKINAH is the flagship annual praise gathering of Heroes For Christ Ministry.
Over the past three years, this powerful worship experience has gathered hundreds of passionate worshippers who come together to experience deep and intimate praise before God.
The atmosphere of SHEKINAH is marked by intense worship, divine encounters, and spiritual transformation.
The upcoming SHEKINAH 4.0, scheduled for June 2026, promises to be a remarkable worship experience featuring guest worship ministers and notable praise leaders from within and outside Africa.
This gathering continues to grow as a platform where believers unite to celebrate God’s presence through powerful praise.
